The Influence of Proteolytic Enzyme on the Absorption of three Sulfonamides throuth the Small Intestine of Rats
Lee Jin-Hwan

Abstract
In this paper, the effect of proteolytic enzymes on the absorption of three sulfonamides such as sulfisoxazole, sulfathiazole and sulfamethoxypyridazine were investigated by the Loop¢¥s circulation method through the small intestine of rats.
The experiments carried out in two kind of the concentration, tyrode [buffer solution contained 0.3% or 1% of the each proteolytic enzyme with the fixed administration of sulfonamides. The results are as follows.
In the small intestine of rats, absorption of three sulfonamides were accelerated by the presence of proteolytic enzymes.
Absorption rate of sulfisoxazole, sulfamethoxypyridazine and sulfathiazole in order were affected by proteolytic enzyme.
Chymotrypsin in the absorption rate of sulfonamides showed more good results than that of trypsin.
